Re: Latin pronounciations

I understand where this could be a problem due to the origins of the Latin
language.
However, it would give those of us where this field is not our field of
study at least a ball park pronunciation.

Because of regional differences in accents, perhaps several of the most
common enunciations of the latin names could be provided. Some people may
have a difficult time pronouncing a latin name one way, but be perfectly
capable of pronouncing the name with a slightly different accent so that
someone else will at least understand what they are referring to.

Unfortunately for myself, I have a hard time pronouncing most of the latin
names, and I have no reference at all as to what they should sound like, so
any assistance here would be greatly appreciated.
