There was an article in CPN several years ago (1987?) by John De
Franco. He experimented with Mercury and Metal Halide (also called
multivapor) lights for Sarracenia in terrariums. He used a 175 watt light
with a reflector. He reported excellant results particularly with the
coloration in his taller pitchers.
Maybe someone else on the listserve will be able to find the exact
year and month the article was published.
Good growing,
Mike Tarnowski
