Hi, thank you all who have helped me with t.c. info. , webpage info. , and
species info.If anyone wants to know how to a growing chamber/cpseed
raiser,and be recycling at the same time using a structure that WON'T hurt cp
READ THE FOLLOWING;
Even though this might seem like a no-brainer to some and most already probaly
use this structure I am going to put it on here anyway for anyone who might be
interested;
1.When you are finished with the plastic gallon container , that use to
contain distilled water (if you use it) then cut four 1 inch holes in the
bottom of it.
2.Next, cut around the middle , leaving 4 in. of plastic still conecting the
two halfs (top and bottom).
3.Third, take the plastic cap off the container.
4.Fourth,place a plate under-neath the container.
5.Fifth,place wet moss spaghnum inside the container 1 in. high.
6.Place a little perlite 1/4 in. on top og the moss spaghnum.
7.Then, place a mixture of 3 parts peat ,one part horticultral sand on top of
the mixture.
8.Wearing gloves,mix up the soil created just a little.
9.Now your ready to plant a plant in there or place seeds in there.
10.If you want a plant planted in there or don't want seeds growing in
there,take an already potted plant,ONLY LEAVE OUT THE PERLITE,PEAT MOSS, AND
HORTICULTRAL SAND,LEAVING THE 1 IN. LAYER OF MOSS SPAGHNUM AT THE BOTTOM.Then
just place the potted plant on the moss spaghnum , close the lid ( created in
# 2 ) and let the potted plants in there for four to five hours and the plants
actually growing in their for,well , ALL DAY, duh...
I hope this helps someone.I know it works for me because my plants seem to
grow faster ,bigger,stronger, and it helps them maintain pretty good humidity.
***REMEMBER TO TAKE THE CAP OFF THE TOP OF THE CONTAINER TO HELP AIR
CIRCULATE AND PREY TO BE CAPTURED! :) :) :)
SINCERELY,
Bobby Hood
