Subject: Mite Problem

I have found two useful treatments for red spider mite (two spotted mite)
One is to introduce Predatory Mite (Persimilis) into the collection .
Frequent misting will then provide conditions favorable to the predator
rather than the pest . The other method is to completely immerse the plant
in water for a few hours to drown the little beggars . Persimilis are
available commercially & in Australia at least & are widely used by
Strawberry & flower growers .
