Don't feel bad about taking matters into your own hands, where I live at in
Virginia Beach, we have swarms of small insects that resemble a small cloud.
These insects are a excellent source of food for cape sundews. One day I had a
bright idea and with sundew in hand, I went chasing the swarm of bugs. Everytime
I got within range of this swarm, I would run the pot of sundews through the
swarm of bugs. Within a few minutes the sundew was so full of bugs that each
leaf looked twice the original size. When the neighbors saw this, they just knew
I was on drugs. Here's a grown man chasing what seem to be air with a pot full
of stick looking plants. I must admit, if I would have seen myself doing this, I
would probably feel the same way as the neighbors did. Will, I'm still chasing
the swarms around the yard and as for the neighbors, I think they're used to it
by now (maybe) and as for the sundews go, will,they seem to really enjoy the Big
Steak Dinner they get.

Don't feel bad. My neighbours asked
me if I was getting ready to water my
lawn during the spring thaw when they
saw me setting up a hose from my rain
barrel to the other end of the yard! Also
they gave me a funny look from their
window when I was collecting snow and
bringing it in the house this winter
because I was running low in rain
water!
