Subject: Sand/peat mixes

It appears the 1:1 sand/peat mix is too compact for my sarracenias. The root
development is poor, the lateral young rosettes are rotting. From the day I
mixed sand in my pots for my CPs I've got a lot of problems (sand too
alcaline, compact soil and rotting...) I think I'll use a very few sand in my
mixes and use perlite instead. I'll repot them tomorrow.
