Give it time. I would give the Neps at least two months just to be on the safe
side. It is also important to make sure the surface medium stays moist. If
you didn't use all your seeds, you might try a peat/sand mix for those
remaining. I have never found big differences in germination rates, but
sometimes fungus and algae growth seem to catch on one medium and not on the
other.
