Anoxic soil and Darlingtonia : remember Slack's theory. Generous watering
flushes micro-organisms from the roots and avoid the heating from their
activity. So no cooling is needed. Maybe a bubbler will forbid these organism
to remain in plae as the flushing water.

Sometimes the flower of Droseras don't really open. But I think the flower
is complete and the anthers are in contact with the pollen in the bud, so the
flower self pollinate without opening.
