Further to the last entry, I find a compost of 3 parts moss peat to 1 =
part horticultural sand, well mixed idea. I keep mine in a cool =
greenhouse, in full light. During the growing season I allow them to =
stand in a tray of 1-2" of water, constantly. During the winter period I =
allow the water trays to dry out between waterings, to keep the plants =
somewhat drier. a winter miniuim of 40F seems ideal.
I have never in ten years of growing Cephalotus lost any to rot, or =
frost. this year for the first time i divided my mine specimen plant up. =
Everyone of my divisions have now taken and are shooting new leaves. I =
hope this is of help. By the way Lee, I will be getting back to you, =
with my plant list in Dollers.
All the best
Bill
