After reading all the issues...
Still the nice tips about Ceph. BTW, I've fertilized mine with ONE drop of
PURE orchid fertilizer in ONE pitcher and it seems it worked. I'll reput ONE
drop in these days because the plant is slowing down (I've put this drop after
the 1st of may - remember, Wim ! - and the plant produced two well sized
pitchers).
What about this friend who wanna put his Ceph in a tray with an half inch of
water !?
Another guy places his charcoal on the top of his mix, so you don't have to
repot the plant to add charcoal !
In a minimarket, they (really surprising !) sale a few CPs. Two racks, one
with D. aliciae and VFTs, the other one with hybrid neps. They come, usual
here, from Cresco in the Netherlands. Price is good : about 4.5 US$ for the
Neps, 3 for the other.
One of the two remaining VFTs is deep purple in the trap, with purple teeths
and purple 'lips' on the trap. Could it be a special form ? Or just a
'boosted' plant ?
I've rescued all these plants, telling the manager to water them ! Peat was
already leaving the border of the pot to the center, letting a few mm of free
space ! How much CP die in the stores !??
