Hey y'all!
Check out this nifty email I got in the mail today about the CP FAQ! I got
something of a chucky about it, although I suppose I shouldn't have...
Unfortunately, after I wrote a long, careful, reasoned response I
discovered that the email address of the sender is bogus! Frast!

Hello sir/madam. I would like to express my disappointment in your FAQ
about the venus flytrap. It is not only shallowminded and insulting,
but inaccurate. I recently bought a very healthy venus flytrap from a
plant nursery in town, here in southern Michigan. These plants are
grown from small clippings are are not taken from the wild. They are
then raised locally in the nursery and are sold to plant lovers like
myself, with an instruction sheet and phone number where you can call
for plant care assistance. The nursery also gives part of its proceeds
to habitat conservation.
I don't know where you get off being so pompus and arrogant as to think
that everyone who looks at your flytrap is an ignorant fool who recently
bought a plant that they will not be able to maintain. Your wording is
especially degrading and discouraging. I am a big plant fan and was
merely doing some recreational reading when I stumbled across your page.
I think you should be ashamed of yourself for the way you speak to the
public and preach about the death of their beloved plant. In lieu of
what I have read, I can see that you are an arrogant fool, and am
certain that no self-respecting journalist would ever credit your page.
I am thoroughly disgusted and urge you to reconsider your writing.
