Through some strange alignment of the stars my local nursery just
happened to have a really nice looking S. Leucophylla and I couldn't
resist buying it. It is potted in a tall 5 inch square pot. It looks
like its growing in peat and perlite. The top of the soil is entirely
covered with non-sphagnum moss. It will be grown indoors.
I think the pot is okay, although I would like to put it in a round,
regular sized pot for aesthetic reasons. The soil looks a bit heavy,
especially for growing indoors. And the moss? I don't know.
What should I do, and when should I do it?
thanks.
