Subject: Indoor plant food

For Anyone's Information - I've posted a time or two before asking what
to feed my terrarium-bound CPs. Well, I have recently put some aquatic
Utrics outside my apartment in a litter box filled with peat/sand/water
and even more recently found that same flat to be a breeding grounds for
mosquitos. So I've been catching the mosquito larvae and dropping them
on/in my indoor plants! I'm assuming they shouldn't hurt anyone, and
they work quite well since they don't crawl, fly, hop or run away from
the less-active plant traps like Drosera and Pings. (It's just a hassle
trying to separate out the mosquito larvae from the crap from the nearby
trees floating on the water.) Where I live (West Central Florida) will
guarantee no trouble in getting mosquitos to breed in any standing water
I leave outside, assuring me a steady supply of food for my plants!

(Of course, they grow so quickly, I'll be surprised if the Utrics
themselves, outside in the pan in which they're breeding, will ever be
able to use them as a useful food source! I've seen very few that could
be trapped by the, relatively, small Utric traps.)
