Here's the recipe I use, which is derived from Rob Sacilotto's
method. (Please excuse the lack of metric units. I'll convert
the recipe upon request).

First I put four gallons of reverse osmosis-purified water on
the boil.

Before it starts boiling, I add 6-8 cups of dry peat moss. I
also add two handfuls of dry sphagnum moss.

Once it starts boiling, I let it continue for 45 minutes.

After this, I pour the hot solution through an old sheet
and collect it in a few plastic milk jugs.

(Robert uses nylon stocking material, which probably explains
why his tea is darker than mine).

Starting with four gallons of water, I end up with two gallons
of peat tea, sometimes a little more.

When I want to use the peat tea, I dilute it 3:1 water to tea,
sometimes 4:1. At one time I was using it once per week, and
the plants were (and are) doing fine. I'm using it less frequently
now, mostly because I haven't had the time to make the stuff
recently.
