We have the same problem with some of our orchids. We use and
insectisidal soap washed through the soil and it usually kills them the
only problem is that if any survive they can multiple extemely quickly
and be back within several months. However we have noticed that they
only
feed on the already dead root material and that they do not appear to
cause the live roots or the plant any harm. Athlough they should be
gotten rid of anyway. You should isolate the plants that have them from
the plants that don't have them because they can spread from pot to pot
very quickly.
