          Well James you should be able to get some from your local
          garden center or DIY store. Look out for 3 things:
          
          1. Its only moss peat with nothing added.
          
          2. Its NOT sedge peat which isn't always suitable for CP.
          
          3. That the supplier has some concerns for the environment -
          some make a pledge of not extracting peat from particularly
          sensitive areas.
          
          Most moss peat in the UK is of Irish origin, I doubt you
          will encounter the Canadian material in the UK.
          
          As you are in Northern England you probably won't have to
          travel too far to see native CP - Peak District, Lake land,
          North York Moors etc etc.
