Subject: P. moranensis

I have a P. moranensis I started from a leaf cutting back in May.
It's doing well--it has about 8 leaves, and is about 1.5 inches in
     diameter now.

The problem is that it has no roots. I know this because when I water
the pot, the plant often "uproots" and floats. It is definitely not
     attached to the soil!

It is growing on a south windowsill in 1:3 sand/peat, under a clear
plastic dome for high humidity. It sits in a tray of rainwater, but I
water from the top when it dries out.

Is this typical? Anything I need to do to get it to grow roots?

     Kind regards,

     Mark
