Subject: Ping's roots

Hi Mark

I own P. primuliflora, P. esseriana, P. moranensis/caudata and P. 'Wezer'.

Only P. primuliflora has deep roots.

The other ones are growing on the soil with tiny roots, penetrating maybe 2 cm
in the earth. This is normal. That's why it's so easy to split the plant.

Wim Leys could tell you how he killed a Pinguicula, trying to cover the roots.

Hope this helps.

Laurent
