Ungulates are almost universal in their habitat representation. Of cours=
e sheep are managed by humans who may "forget" to move the herds around. =
On Jepson Prairie, which is a vernal pool and not a CP habitat, sheep hel=
p keep the annual grasses down so that the wee flowers can come up. But =
there have been years where there was over grazing.
