Hi all,
I am fairly new to CP's (less than a year) and I seem to have problem
with my Cephalotus. The larger pitchers have begun to turn yellow, and
one has already completely shriveled and died. One of the smaller
pitchers seems to have been eaten away very slightly at the lip of the
pitcher. I can't tell if it is from a bacteria or insects. The other
small pitchers seem to be doing fine - bright green and vibrant looking.
I am afraid that this is not part of getting ready for dormancy. Can
anyone help? If it is insect damage, are there any insecticides that
won't harm the plant? Should I immerse the plant overnight? Any
responses private or public would be appreciated.
Happy Growing,
Adrian
