Greetings list! {and newbies!!} I've always been a believer on keeping Sarrs
drier during the dormant or cooler season. I live in central Fl,and
constantly have to put up with those winter "warm ups",But i still try to
keep them drier than usual.... I usually keep them in the shade when they're
dormant also..{also makes those awesome Fall pitchers on sp. like S.leuco and
S. rubra gulf. last much longer!}In Spring when spikes or pitchers appear, I
give plenty of water and full sun. Also, a good dose of peat tea before
Winter kinda keeps the soil ph balanced and fungal growth to a
minimum......Hope it helps! Enjoy CP! Brian in Fl.
