Regarding the leaves falling over, in my experience you can't give D.
binata too much light. Anything less than bright direct sunlight seems
to cause leggy plants that fall over as you describe.

Regarding the lack of bifurcations, my plant that I believe to be D.
binata binata started producing 2 bifurcations (resulting in 3 points
total) just before it flowered, since then it has gone back to producing
a single bifurcation (2 points total) so perhaps there is some nebulous
relationship between bifurcations and flowering in D. binata? I think
Jay Lechman (sp?) described something similar in his plant and I would be
curious if others have noticed anything along these lines.
