Hi Cap,
Perhaps you have spider mites. They lay their eggs in the webs, I
believe. I had spider mites and they are easy to control with soapy
water, but often it takes the use of a systemic poison, like Orthene,
to get rid of them completely. I don't like using deadly chemicals
so I spray down the plants with soap and come back a week later for the
babies with the Orthene. This way I only have to use the stuff once
instead of twice.
