so.... it seems we have to come to grips with the dolphon problem
i recall many many years ago, being in the caribbean and having a
meal at a restaurant. i was upset that they were serving
dolphin, that is until i learned that the dolphin in the dish was
not related to the dolphin called "flipper".
perhaps, to avoid undue (fit any adjective that you feel fits )
we just refer to the flipper dolphin as a porpoise??????
