After a number of bad experiences I decided to raise an issue which
probably effects all who grow CP.
Over the course of the past few months I have had a number of bad
experiences with regards to trading plants.
When undertaking to exchange plants with another CPer I feel that one
should be honest about what one is going to send from the start.
The number of bullshit stories that I have heard is incredible:
"the bog dried up"(in 1 day!)
"the plant became another species"!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Of course the usual is that the person promises to send one thing(usually
something rare in exchange for your rare plants)and some common species
arrives with some pathetic excuse.
Often the plants arrive after months of enquiring having been told for
weeks on end "yes, they were posted yesterday".
I think that maybe there should be a "Black List" published of all
offenders so that those well meaning people in future do not waste their
time and plants.
