I have been looking at a recent Allen Lowrie catalogue and see that
a lot of the Drosera in the petiolaris complex have been recently
named and I am trying to connect previous identities to current
names. This is what I have come up with / guessed. Anyone know
for sure? I don't think any of these new names are in the database
yet.
D. brevicomis Lowrie = D. aff. petiolaris "Medium Rosette"
D. broomensis Lowrie = D. aff. petiolaris "Smooth Scapes"
D. caduca Lowrie = D. aff. petiolaris "Edkins Range"
D. darwinensis Lowrie = D. aff petiolaris "Mini Rosette"
D. derbyensis Lowrie = D. aff. lanata "Derby"
D. fulva Planchon = D. aff. petiolaris "Long Scapes"
D. kenneallyi Lowrie = D. aff. falconeri "Mitchell Plateau"
D. ordensis Lowrie = D. aff. petiolaris "Kununurra"
D. paradoxa Lowrie = D. aff. petiolaris "Erect"
Also, if anyone knows where these descriptions are published, I would
be interested in knowing the source.
Thanks,
