Hi Matt,

It could be the soil and repotting will not harm the plant. I grow a
lot of cp's from seed as I'm sure many list members do and am starting
to realize that media of sand and milled sphagnum should be replaced
periodically, say every year. While the media in an outdoor bog may be
fine, the media in a pot being watered by the tray system is probably
aging differently and I think faster than the media in an outdoor bog.
One thing I've noticed is that after many months (6 to 12) that the
surface level of the media in a pot has dropped dramatically from when
the media was fresh. This probably affects the amount of oxygen that is
getting to the roots and hence the health and growth rate of the cp.

David
