Dear List,
some time ago I was sent some plants of P.ehlersiae alba
which I was delighted with and looked forward to comparing
this white flowered form against one of my old favourites -
the typical form of this species. A few weeks ago I was
excited by the presence of flower buds in the centre of the
rosettes and placed the plants on my kitchen windowsill so I
could follow their development.
The first flowers have opened and are certainly not of
P.ehlersiae, the plants are the quite lovely P.gracilis a
white flowered species I have in abundance. What I would be
interested in knowing is does a true white flowered form of
P.ehlersiae exist or are all examples of this plant miss
IDed P.gracilis.
Any help on this matter would be greatly appreciated.
Kind regards
Loyd
