This happened to me with D. capensis (both regular and alba). The
plants were in a terrarium and this happened when I watered them too
much. The soil was peat with at topping of sphagnum and was rather
dense. I found that when I watered, I could see the water level rise in
the bottom of the terrarium and, when I let the water rise above a
certain point, the ends of the capensis leaves would turn brown and dry
up. The water level at which this happened was very specific, I marked
it on the side of the tank, and as long as I stayed below that line,
everything was fine. You might try just watching how much water
collects in the bottom of the terrarium and seeing if the same may be
true in your case.
I've since moved all my drosera to long fiber sphagnum (still in a
terrarium). This seems less dense and they aren't quite as prone to
shriveled tips, but I've still managed to get them to do it a time or
two.
