Dear Dennis,

> Are there any german names for Nepenthes species?

I suppose you know the popular expression "Kannenpflanze" for the
whole genus. German names for particular species are created
artificially by +/- clumsy translations of the Latin epithets. As the
genus does (unfortunately) no longer occur spontaneously in C Europe
(at least since tens of millions of years, if the Tertiary pollen
finds are assigned correctly at all), there are no true vernacular
German names for the species.

Kind regards
Jan
