Hi David,
        Have you transplanted the plant from the original (small) pot into
a larger container that will allow enough space for the root system to
spread out? Also, you say the soil is moist, but is it well draining or is
it soggy. Soggy is not good. You might check the pH of the soil. Alkaline
is not good, acidic is better. What is the relative humidity of the air
above the plant? A high humidity is better than low. What is the
temperature of the surroundings? Could the plant be going into dormancy? If
so, then cut back on the water and let it become a bit drier until warmer
weather when it will start to grow again.
