Subject: VFTs

Hi All,
Last year I moved some small VFTs into a small 1 1/2 in seed tray
with a sand peat mix and then left them. This year they are x 4 the
size of last year and all have flowers. All this from two and half
months growth. Can any one explain they they are doing so well when
they hardly got any soil, mistakenly watered with tap water (by third
party) and only getting a few hours of direct sunlight each day?
