Are these copies of the original printing that are
being sold for such large amounts?
I have an attractive hard bound edition published in
France in 1969 (I think). It is a facsimile-type
edition with brown covers. I presume that this
edition would be cheaper that an original unless you
are set on having a first edition.
I dont know how much you should expect to pay for
this version. I was lucky. I walked into a second
hand book shop, looked at the first shelf and there
it was...eight pounds. Jut have to keep hitting
theose little back-street bookshops until you get
lucky.
If anyone wants the destails of this edition Ill look
them up and post them here.
