Subject: Tuberous drosera - peltata/auriculata

All the talk about these plants recently has me wondering again -
what are the differences between d. auriculata and d. peltata?
Are they separate species or subspecies? The database lists
auriculata as a subspecies of peltata.
Here the wild peltatas grow in full sun on clay banks.
