opened. In fact, all the pitchers are barely open, if at all. It's
been in indirect sun outdoors for about 2 weeks. Humidity is at a
max....New Orleans in the summer.
Ceph pitchers open with fluid in them. Once opened, they are ready to
catch
bugs. The only reason that the pitcher stays or remains just about shut
wound be lack of moisture. Not necessary humidity, but soil moisture.
Full sun or filtered sun really doesn't have an impact on pitcher
opening unless there is no light. Concentrate on the soil moisture for
now and let us know how big the new pitcher really is, small pitchers
tend to stay almost closed. Bigger pitchers will open all the way, but
it takes time. These plants are very slow growers compared to other
CPs.
