Hi Everyone--
Last year, when I visited California Carnivores, Peter D'Amato mentioned a
rumour he'd heard about a native Darlingtonia bog existing somewhere in a
ravine on Mt. Tamalpais, in Marin County. I know there are many serpentine
outcrops all over the mountain and that Darlingtonia exploit such toxic
sights. Can anyone substantiate the rumour? Or is it in fact just that--a
rumour?
Gary
