Subject: RE: D. peltata quandary

Greetings All,

D. peltata and D. ariculata will continue to grow as long as conditions
remain favourable. If they get sufficient water over summer they may last
until autumn. It is normally the hot weather and lack of rain that causes
them to die off after flowering. Side shoots often appear if they receive
rain again before they die off completely. Even if left in ideal conditions
they will eventual go dormant and regrow with out the need to change the
conditions.
