Sarracenia Nurseries have been reincarnated, according to the latest UK
CPS newsletter. The name is owned by Chris & Dianne Crow, who are
selling Carnivorous Plants from a place in Surrey. They offer a mail
order service - phone or write to 37 Stanley Park Road, Carshalton,
Surrey SM5 3HT, tel 0181 647 7706. Their ad doesn't state whether they
can handle orders outside the EU. Apparently they had an Open Day on
26th July - did any Brits go and can they give an independent
assessment?
I spoke to Peter Cole (Cambrian Carnivores) on Saturday. He had to take
his PC in for repair and they kindly reformatted his hard drive, losing
updated seed and plant lists, e-mails and orders. Please be patient if
you are expecting something from him, and (preferably) phone him or send
him an e-mail if you haven't heard anything in a fortnight or so.
Is Brocchinia Tatei one of the sub-carnivorous bromeliads of interest to
Cpers?
Regards, NigelH
