Anne,
al you have to make sure is that it is in the right compost
(peat/lime-free sand/perlite (1:1:1)) and it's pot stands in a inch
or so of rain water (never tap or bolied). These plants like pots
much bigger than the ones they are usually sold in so it will need
potting on. Instead of the above mix they'll also grow in 100%
living sphagnum moss (sometimes sold for hanging baskets).
As for food, mine catch their own, don't worry about it. Don't give
them meat whatever you do
