Subject: Nepnthes pitchers turning brown

Hi CP growers,
I have run into a problem with both of my Nepenthes alata plants. They had
wonderful large pitchers but since last two weeks, their pitchers have been
turning brown from the top down, and now most of the pitchers' upper halves
are completely brown. I guess it is due to the change in season but could
there be another reason, or is this normal? I live in Istanbul with
Mediterrenean like climate.
