I grow my Sarracenias outside, so they catch the native insect population. I
only have about twenty plants, and they all seem to catch the same insects,
which is predominantly ants. The larger tubes, like leucophylla, flava,
alata and mooreana catch an occasional wasp. I live in the city. A friend of
mine, who has many Sarracenias, lives in an agricultural zone and his plants
catch mostly fruit flies.
We live in south Florida, several hundred miles south of most Sarracenia
habitats.

Until later,
