Subject: VFT and Dormancy

i just got a VFT for christmas, since my family knows about my addiction
to growing them. i had to stop a few years ago, college was taking over
too much of my time, so this is the first plant i've had in a while. what
i want to know, is if i should dry and get the plant to go into dormancy,
or keep it growing. i livve in minnesota, so it's not like i can just put
it outside and hope for the best, it's -20 to -40 with the windchill at
night. since it's from the store, i have no idea what it's normal
dormancy cycle would be either. any hlep would be greatly appreciated.
