I haven't noticed any problems with my bogs, which have drainage holes a few
inches below the surface, not at the bottom. But then, I haven't looked
that closely. What kind of problems did you notice during summer. I like
the idea of bottom drainage but am concerned that I will have to water more
frequently with municipal water during the summer dry spells with 7 (soon to
be 8) bogs, there's too many to water with rainwater.
