Subject: New Pitcher Plant Genus (was Seeds and Stems)

A tentative "wow" in advance of confirmation of Peter's
suggestion/announcement/request for information about the
possibility of a new pitcher plant genus in the Tepuis of South
America (Heliamphora habitat).

Jan, et al ... a humble request (assuming you'd do anything
differently) to post results to the list as soon as practicable?

BTW, did anything come of the suggestion that there was a tropical
morphological analogue of Dionaea muscipula in Vietnam? Or was this
an early April Fool's joke ....

>The plant is called Saccifolium bandeirae, and reportedly is
>reminiscent of Cephalotus.
