Subject: Aquatic CP and effects on an artificial pond

Do any of you have an artificial pond (a small backyard one) that
contains both wildlife such as frogs, tadpoles, newts, goldfish, etc. AND
aquatic CP? How does the aquatic CP affect the oxygen content in the water,
the natural creation or removal of wastes, interference with the wildlife,
PH of the water, etc.? Is it a good idea or a bad idea to have aquatic CP
in a water garden/pond? Thanks.
