Afternoon all;
Just a notice for the UK growers here. With a bit of luck, you may remember
the ICPS mousepad (originally popped up in CP Digest 1821, details at
http://carnivorousplants.org/gifts.html). It's a lovely wee thing, just the
thing to brighten up your working day and bemuse your co-workers.
"But," I hear you cry, "we live in the UK, and the ICPS is in the US, and at
last count Barclays was charging 8 quid for a bank order, and it's a pain to
send off to the US..."
And so, in the interests of good taste and promoting the ICPS, I'm getting
together a few people interested in buying these mouse pads as a group. By
buying them in bulk, and thanks to some fast financial footwork by Carl &
Sherry Taylor (the hard-working duo who are producing the pads), the total
cost should be not appreciably more than the US cost (after conversion).
Current estimates are probably in the region of seven to eight quid, plus
postage in the UK (shouldn't be more than another quid or so).
So anyone in the UK interested in acquiring an ICPS mousepad, drop me an
email and we'll see what we can do.
Good growing;
Jack Elder
