Hello CPers
I wonder if anyone has the answer to Red Algae. My plants sit in
Plastic and Galvanised trays, they were in the same trays last year
and the usual green algae grew in the water. After bringing them
out of dormanancy this year the algae in the galvanised tray is Red,
I have cleaned the tray and pots several times but it keeps comming
back. I know that certain types of algae are harmful, anyway it's
harmful to me, it's really bugging me, green I can cope with but the
red is driving me mad. The water comes from a Butt on the side of
my greenhouse.
Any ideas? your help would be much appreciated.
