Subject: Vancouver cp meeting

Hello everyone,

I'd like to give far in advance notice of our upcoming cp meeting
of the Vancouver chapter of the Pacfic Northwest Carnivorous Plant Club
(PNWCPC). I have placed many of you on a mass mailing list, and will use
that for the majority of updates. However, I know there's people who were
part of the group in the past and have different e-mail addresses, or new
people who are in the area and would like to be put on it. Basically, if
you didn't receive my message from yesterday and want to be kept updated
of our going-ons, let me know and I'll gladly include you in the list.

So, our main meeting this year is going to be on August 8th
(Sunday, I think!) in the Richmond Nature Park's Main Building. The show
and sale open to the general public is scheduled for 11:00a.m. to 1:00p.m.
with a meeting to follow. However, if you are a grower and would like to
exchange plants with others, we will be doing this at 10 to 11:00a.m. If
you are from the Seattle area and don't feel like getting up at 6am on a
Sunday, don't worry, Chin Lee is working out an exchange list so every
grower gets a fair chance at other plants.

As usual, the plant sale will involve displays and cp's for sale
which, in the past, have included Drosera, vft's, Nepenthes, Sarrs, etc,
all at reasonable prices.

For more information, or updated info, see the PNWCPC web-page at
www.nurserysite.com. Click on the clubs and societies and go from there.
I'll update it regularly with lists of topics, and so forth. Details of
the meeting will also be on the ICPS website (www.carnivorousplants.org).

Happy growing!

Chris
