Afaik it is the first time that a pale form of P. grandiflora is recorded
from the Pyrenees.
So the tendency to develop pale-flowered mutations seems to be inherent in
all areas of the disjunct distribution range (I guess the f. pallida from
the Jura and Nelsons f. chionopetra from the Irish Burrens are more or less
identical). If you will have some gemmae in autumn I would be interested to
get a few.
