Subject: hampton court report

hi all
i went to hampton court on friday, and was wondering whether those of you
unfortunate enough not to be able to go might want to hear what it was like.

the show started at ten in the morning and finished at 8 in the afternoon.
what made it better than last year was that hampshire carnivorous plants
were selling there too, so there was twice the amount of cp's than last
year, as well as hampshire cp's very cheap prices.
the weather was good, very hot and sunny. last year there was a storm,
and the 8 big tents that were there were cramped, but because of the
weather, they were quite spacious.
out side i bought some condensed new zealend sphagnum moss(just add water),
and a large roll of capillary matting. inside i bought a load of plants from
marston exotics and hampshire cp's.
hampshire cp's also won 1st prize for best display from a newcomer!
unlike chelsea, chairs were not a problem to find. also, there were plenty
of places where you could buy food. the prices for drinks were a little high
though!, \2431.30 for a 500ml bottle of water!

as usual vauxhall were driving courtesy cars to and from the car park, it
was good for those of us that were parked at the far end o the field, and
the air conditioning was a blessing!

regards.
